Aengus Finnan
Described as a “traveling archivist” by Saturday Night, Aengus’ story-style songs and dramatic performances have enthralled audiences at festivals and performing arts centres throughout Canada to The Kennedy Center in Washington, DC.
At the International Folk Alliance 2003 conference, showcasing his new album “North Wind,” Aengus Finnan was singled out as the Critic’s Pick by The Nashville Scene. Add to this a songwriting award from The Kerrville Folk Festival in Texas, and a National Decoration during the Golden Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, and you have one of Canada’s youngest, most critically acclaimed performing songwriters.
