From mad scientists, to lunar landings, to outrageous weapons, science is everywhere on the big screen. But how much Hollywood science is actually plausible, and how much of it is already happening?
On November 22nd, join Bob McDonald, host of CBC Radio’s Quirks and Quarks, as he takes the stage LIVE at The Vic Theatre to explore the way science is portrayed on film: the good, the bad, and the mad science we see on screen.
Showing clips from classic cinema such as 2001 Space Odyssey to modern day movies like Gravity, Bob McDonald separates science fiction from scientific fact in this fun and fascinating live performance. The show starts at 7:00PM, and tickets are $35 (19+ Only).
