Event Description

Shane O'Brien is an Owner and Director of Gallery Jones in Vancouver which was founded in 2004. O'Brien is actively involved with the development of artists' careers, the acquisition of work by major international institutions, the placing of art in the public realm, participation in art fairs around the world, among other facets of the art business. O'Brien holds a Master's Degree in Fine Art and has taught in art programs at the university level. Gallery Jones represents Canadian and International contemporary artists in the mediums of painting, sculpture and lens-based art.
