Please join us for the opening of FLOTATION DEVICES, a 2 part MFA Connect Exhibition.

Opening: Thursday, March 12th at 6pm
Part 1: March 9-15
Part 2: March 16-22

MFA Connect is an annual exhibition exchange between the Visual Arts MFA candidates at the University of Victoria and other national and international institutions. Combining diverse points of departure in research, MFA Connect introduces both sides of the exchange to the possibilities of creation within visual arts across cultures, histories and geographies.

Foregrounding cross-cultural reciprocity, this year MFA Connect has organized an exchange with the MFA cohort at the University of Newcastle in the UK. This year’s curatorial model pools all Visual Arts candidates together to create two separate theme-based exhibitions spreading across two weeks at each institution.
