8:45 pm Marina Avros is an award winning singer-songwriter who has performed internationally as both a solo artist and with her band the Belle Miners. Born and raised on Vancouver Island, Marina spent 14 summer seasons watching over the boreal forest in a forest Fire Lookout, completely immersed in nature and writing countless songs. Avros writes “delightful and genuine songs with memorable melodies, brilliant guitar rhythms and one-of-a-kind vocals.” — Ben Dunsmuir
9:10 pm The Elderly Bros: Prior to the pandemic, Peter Jasmin and Bob Gibb each entertained separately but came together during COVID to produce a video for retired residents across Greater Victoria and have been performing together ever since. Bob is a retired opera singer who graced many stages both in Victoria and Vancouver in productions such as Gilbert & Sullivan’s and other high-profile operettas. He’s also a retired ukulele and dance instructor. Peter is a ukulele and bass player who entertained seniors in greater Vancouver for several years before moving to Victoria where he resumed the practice from Sidney to Langford. Between them, The Elderly Bros perform many genres of music from Opera to Country, Broadway to Jazz … in 7 languages!
9:35 pm q brooke bachand: Two-time Irish music award-winning, nonbinary, westcoast artist, q is a consummate performer who is clearly at ease on stage! Formerly qristina bachand, q is known for their powerful fiddle and captivating vocals. Their contagious energy and love of Folk and Celtic music is always at the forefront as they bless audiences with energetic and spirited performances which showcase their propensities for fiddling as well as song & story-sharing.
