Event Description
The Victoria Baroque Youth Orchestra, led by Elyssa Lefurgey-Smith, returns to share their intimate and joyful presentation of Handel's Messiah: Part I, the nativity. This year they add a performance of Corelli's Christmas Concerto Grosso to begin the festivities.
All ages welcome - join the soloists and orchestra as you sing in four beloved choruses: For Unto Us a Child is Born, Thou that Tellest Good Tidings, And The Glory of the Lord, ending with the beloved Hallelujah chorus. Rehearsal participation encouraged.
Rehearsals: 11.20am-12.20pm Sunday Nov 17, 24, Dec 1, 8, with a sound check and final rehearsal at 1.30pm on Dec 14th. Using Novello edition - please let the event host know if you need a score.
